Wow, I’ve had the … Wow, I’ve had the idea that learning music and learning instruments are different things, that music is a language for quite some time. But when you said it’s a very simple language compared to spoken languages like chinese ect. the penny really dropped. I have to start building my vocabulary.

Every things he claims on his site is true. People are amaze at my progress. HIs course gave me a lot of knowlege about music. It made me realise that learning music above learning guitar is what i realy wanted.

I don’t know. I played keyboards for some years before I took up guitar. That’s where I learned the language. It was easier for me to pick up the guitar (and bass and sax for that matter) because I already knew the language.
Each instrument has it’s own VOICE and attributes. You can only explore that aspect once you pick it up … but the fundamentals of the language remain the same.
a guitar teaches … a guitar teaches you the language its not just a tool. the language isnt in your head till you pick up a guitar and start playing it.

Cool. You get it. Music is really pretty simple. It’s just so often TAUGHT really badly that everybody thinks it’s this big complicated deal.
That said, it amazes me to this day how much you can express with this simple language.
